$5 off a $5 purchase at Hallmark

Make sure you check all the magazines you are getting for coupons. I found a $5 off a $5 purchase to hallmark in this months O magazine and Woman's Day. I have also heard it is in Martha Stewart, but I can't confirm it because I don't get that one.

We have had some internet connection issues this weekend so I haven't been on here much. I think we are ok now...I hope. Drew and Abby had there first JBQ (jr bible quiz) match this weekend. Big brother, Avery has done it for the last 4 years but this is this first year. I am very proud of their progress.

We stopped by the Regency Square Mall Saturday and got the free $10 gift card I was telling you about last week. This is Jim waiting in line for his...yes, there was a small line. We both got the free gift cards in Sept and now 2 more in Nov. That is $40 free money that we have gotten!!!!! Lori & Phillip and Nathalie & Stan got them too. I will let everyone know if they have this promotion again. I think they are trying to get people out to the mall and spending money....works for me. We didn't spend ours yet. We are waiting for some good Christmas sales.

Oh yeah, while we were at Regency Square Mall I went to Chick-fil-a. I noticed a sign that said BOGO free nuggets on Tuesdays 5-8pm and BOGO free milkshakes on Fridays 5-8pm. This deal is good for the regency square mall location only (inside the mall), but it is a great deal if you are there at those times.

Quick Friday afternoon shopping trip

I stopped by Target this afternoon after work and got this cute santa Mr. potato head for .99 cents. I had read about it on other blogs but I wasn't sure it would work. I am happy to report it works great. Just go to coupons.com and print the Mr. potato head spud buds coupon for $5 /1. These are called santa spuds and they are priced $5.99. They were with the Christmas/sesonal items at my Target....not in the toy section of the store.

I also stopped at Walgreens again. The Oceanspray 100% cranberry juice is on sale for $1.99 this week (reg.$4.79). Use the $1/1 coupon from the Walgreens coupon book located at the entrance to your store.....this is not the ad. It is a green little coupon book. This make the juice $1 for a bottle. Also I bought another Nexxus shampoo and a small mousse. I guess the mousse is considered small or travel size. It is not trial size. The coupon took off $4 for my shampoo and the $2.99 for the mousse (making it completely free!!!!!)

Great Walgreens deal on Nexxus

This 5 oz Nexxus shampoo is reg. priced $5.49 at my Walgreens. At the front of each store is a Nov. Walgreens coupon book. Just grab one because inside is a coupon for $4 off any Nexxus product (excluding trial sizes). That makes this shampoo just $1.49. This would make a great stocking stuffer for mom, sister, teenage daughter, etc.....

Did you sign up for the free gift card at Regency Square Mall a few months ago? Well I got an email today from The Club at Regency Square Mall stating to bring the email I recieived to the mall on Sat, Nov 14th between 11:00am-6:00pm to get another free $10 gift card. Oh yeah!!!!! I sure will. So check your email to see if you got the email to. Who is getting excited about black friday shopping?

I am!!!!! Looks like I will be doing it in New York state (not city) this year, but I am still excited. I'm sure I will be much colder than Florida at 4am, but that is a price I'm willing to pay...lol.

I am starting to see alot of blogs telling what the sales will be. Southern Savers has released some of Targets ad for black friday. I will pass along other ads as I see them posted other places.

My giving challenge

I was challenged personally when I read about Kingdom First Mom's blog and challege for a 30 day giving challege. I feel strongly about this myself. I believe God blesses us and wants us to reach out and bless others. You may be like me....wondering what could I possible do? I am a wife, mother, nurse,...just livivng my normal life. What can I give? I Have been blessed the last year and half to learn a lot more about couponing. I give away my extra stuff to people who need it, but I had accummulated a nice little stockpile of tolietries. My church is hosting a community Thanksgiving dinner for those in need. As i was driving down the road one day I started to think that maybe I could donate my extra stuff to be given out. Well I asked and yes it would be useful when they go door to door inviting people. This is not to glorify my actions, but to encourage any of you that think you would like to do something, somewhere but feel you don't think you have any talents. Saving money is a talent and you could donate somewhere...a church, a shelter, a foodbank.

These are my packages I made up. I was able to make about 100 with various items in each bag. I hope you can be a blessing to someone this holiday season.

I posted about the chick-fil-calendar last week, but I got one today and wanted to let you know how good of deal this is. I have gotten them every year for at least the last 8 years. Usually some months will have a free item and some months will have a free item when you purchase another item. This year every item is a free item, no other purchase required. I usually buy one calendar for each member of the family. You can use one per person....so when you walk in with your family of 5, you can use 5 coupons.
